Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our residents and their families. At the center of our program is family interaction. From the ground up, we have designed our program, and building, to encourage a family-style atmosphere. Based on Tuscan architecture, New West Haven offers both private and companion suites designed around a 24-hour family-style living environment.
Our Services
New West Haven is licensed by the State of California as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. We offer our residents Assistance with the Activities of Daily Living. In addition to providing beautiful room accommodations, our program includes:
- meal preparation by our full time chefs
- medication monitoring
- assistance with dressing and grooming
- incontinence management
- arranging transportation to medical and dental appointments
- and lively and meaningful activities programs
Our Amenities
We work hard to maintain a fun and supportive atmosphere for our residents.
With a full time activities leader on staff leading a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, residents have a variety of opportunities to participate in fun filled activities. A full schedule of activities and socials is offered in the Activities Center.
The Activities Center is open to both full-time residents and part-time (daytime only) residents from 7AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. The Activities Center offers a variety of games and events. The property is fully equipped with:
- A napping room, reclining chairs, restrooms and shower facilities.
- A convenient on-site Beauty Parlor.
- Full time chef to meet individual dietary needs.
- Home electronics. High Definition TVs in each lounge and the Activities Center. All with surround sound and
- DVD players.
- Sony Wii Video Entertainment Center
- In room cable TV service available.
- Home office for residents and families. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access and unlimited local and national telephone service.
